Nioh 3: Six Jizo Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Surviving the punishing endgame of Nioh 3 requires the power of the Six Jizo. These sacred stone statues are a lifeline for any warrior entering the game's most corrupted zones. Beyond being simple collectibles, they are the primary source of Jizo Merit—a specialized currency designed to counter the lethal Life Corrosion mechanic that can permanently shrink your maximum HP during high-stakes battles.

Establishing a network of these shrines is mandatory for those hunting the "Visiting the Six Jizo" Trophy and seeking to maximize their survival within the Crucible.

Unlike standard Kodama buffs, Jizo Blessings are specifically tuned for the brutal environments of the Crucible and Lesser Crucibles. Every interaction with a Six Jizo site grants 50 Jizo Merit (or more in hidden areas like Awawa no Tsuji), which you can spend at any Shrine or purified Bodhisattva Statue.

The core survival buffs include:

  • Life Corrosion Recovery (Elixir): Transforms your Elixirs into a cure, restoring the "corroded" portion of your health bar.
  • Elixir Drop Rate (Crucible): Drastically increases the frequency of Elixir drops from enemies within corrupted zones.
  • Corrosion Recovery (Guardian Spirit): Boosts the amount of max HP restored whenever you activate a Guardian Spirit Skill.
  • Melee Damage (Crucible): Provides a direct power boost to all melee attacks while inside a Crucible.

Not every Six Jizo site is ready for a prayer. In regions like Maisaka and Sagano, you will encounter "broken" statues where a head is missing. To unlock these sites, you must find the missing stone head (Key Item)—often hidden on high ground or held by a deceptive Mujina (Mimic)—and physically return it to the statue. In Maisaka’s Water Mill area, for instance, the head is perched on a nearby rock platform reachable only via a double jump.

Furthermore, some statues in the Heian and Bakumatsu eras, such as those near Iinoya Pass, require a gold offering before they will grant their merit. Securing these statues is a major driver for your Exploration Level. While they are initially shrouded by the "Fog of War," reaching Tier 3 or 4 Exploration in a region will automatically highlight their locations on your compass.

  • Warring States (1572 CE): Features 9 sites, including the hidden tunnel behind the painting in Awawa no Tsuji.
  • Heian (1190 CE): Contains 4 sites, often requiring Spirit Vein traversal to reach.
  • Bakumatsu (1864 CE): Holds 7 sites, some guarded by high-level Crucible Wraiths.

To help you reach 100% completion without getting lost in the shifting eras, our team has pinned the exact coordinates for every Six Jizo location on our Nioh 3 Interactive World Maps.
